Instructions on how to update CIEL Accounting using the Internet
Here are the steps for a correct update using the Internet:
STEP 1: Downloading the update file (updating using the internet) 
Go to the menu
Ajutor > Actualizare On-Line
Select the option
Actualizare de pe Internet and click on the button marked
The application will connect with the CIEL website to verify the last available version
If a newer version is available, the
CITESTE.TXT file will be automaticaly displayed. This file contains the list of the most recent modifications to the program.

The
button will appear in the window, which will allow you to download the necessary file. Click on this button.
Please wait while the file is being downloaded.
STEP 2: Updating the application using the downloaded file (updating by using a local file) Select this option after you have downloaded the file and please introduce the file path for the update file you downloaded in the first step.
Press the
button to start the update operation.
The CIEL application will shut down and the window below will open, offering you the update options:
The
Actualizare client option refers to the situation when you have a network but on that specific computer you only have the application's client installed, the database being located on a data server.
Press the
ACTUALIZARE button in order to launch the actual update of your application.
