CIEL Romania launches a new application - CIEL Audit and Revision

CIEL Romania answers to a real need on the Romanian market launching a new application dedicated to practitioner auditors.

Bucharest, 15 July 2008, CIEL Romania announced the official launching of the CIEL Audit and Revision application. The application is addressed especially to auditors but equally offers the necessary resources for accounting revision activity.

The application has been designed and developed based on the requirements of practitioner auditors. Version 1.0, available on the market now, contains the necessary elements for the fulfilment of the audit mission in accordance with minimal audit standards. At the same time, CIEL Audit and Revision developers took into consideration the specificities of each audit mission depending on the area in which audited companies operate, which is why the application allows the customising and creating of new audit procedures.

Clear benefits that support CIEL Audit and Revision as the first application developed in Romania, which is a genuine audit tool, are: the possibility of calculating the inherent general risk and the specific inherent risk, it proposes sampling according to the audit minimal standards, allows the takeover of accounting information from different types of databases (not only from applications CIEL), the application automatically calculates significant threshold parameters based on imported accounting information and printing of the Audit Book. All these constitute a valuable resource that will help to streamline the organisation and carrying out of audit missions.

"We address ourselves to a very clearly defined niche, namely the auditors of Romania. At this moment the auditors market is not very big but a constant increase is expected in the next 3 years. The launching of this application is part of a plan of strong reinforcement and development for CIEL Romania. The most recent action is the launch of the bilingual Romanian and English CIEL Accounting Professional application – which will closely follow all the other products in the Professional range.

The CIEL Audit and Revision application is available both in single station and network versions, the last one allowing the use of an unlimited number of stations and users. Continuing its policy, CIEL Romania reports the excellent quality to price report, the application has a set launch price of 2,220 Lei for the single station version and 3,940 Lei for the network version. The price includes telephone technical assistance for one year plus all the new versions of the products during this period.
