CIEL management hopes to obtain a 30% increase in turnover during this year. Last year the turnover reached 1.1 million Euro. CIEL invested in personnel, employing more, and for this reason the turnover was lower than in 2005, emphasised Dan Damian, the General Manager of the company.
CIEL has 60 employees, and the majority belong to the development and public relations departments.
At the beginning of this year, CIEL initiated several projects, both short– and long–term. The major objectives are the improvement and diversity of IT products as well as increasing, both quantitatively and especially qualitatively, the national distribution network further declared Dan Damian.
Through it's undertaken social responsibility actions, the Company has set as a main objective the support of the youth preparing for a career in economics. Through the “CIEL Romania” Foundation, the Company initiated last year the first private activity concerning the support of youth so that they can build a career in economics.
CIEL launched the “CIEL Accounting for Chartered Accountants” application, especially designed for accounting experts and authorised accountants. After 15 years of activity, CIEL has almost 20,000 customers and over 35,000 licenses sold.
